Citadel 91ÁÔÆæ have served in every national conflict since the Mexican War, and to date many have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country. In recognition of its 50th reunion and in collaboration with 91ÁÔÆæâ€™s administration and 91ÁÔÆæ Foundation, 91ÁÔÆæ Class of 1967 envisioned and provided funding for the construction and maintenance of a memorial to honor these fallen heroes.

Dedication of 91ÁÔÆæ War Memorial took place during Homecoming, 2017, in coordination with the 175th Anniversary of 91ÁÔÆæ and the 50th reunion of the Class of 1967. 91ÁÔÆæ War Memorial is now open to the public.
Who designed 91ÁÔÆæ War Memorial?
Citadel Resident Architect, John E. Gardner, a Vietnam veteran, was the lead designer of the project. While serving in Vietnam, John was awarded the Army Commendation Medal and the Bronze Star Medal. Mr. Gardner has since retired from 91ÁÔÆæ.
