Get a head start in preparing academically, physically and socially for cadet life at 91ÁÔÆæ!

CSI (Citadel Success Institute) prepares incoming cadets for the upcoming year by supporting their transition into 91ÁÔÆæ. They will become familiar with the campus and student support services, the academic and physical expectations and earn college credit.

91ÁÔÆæs will leave CSI with a support system of fellow cadets and Citadel professionals, in addition to an increased confidence with the military lifestyle. 91ÁÔÆæs will have the opportunity to maintain the friendships made at CSI using the Cadet Company Connections where they can both request to be assigned to the same company.

The summer program lasts about a month in July with students living on campus. They will have structured days during the week, with the opportunity to explore Charleston before starting the school year. This is a great opportunity for those from out of town to get comfortable with the area before making the big move. However, the program is beneficial for all incoming cadets to make the transition from high school to the military college as seamless as possible.
