Dr. P. Michael Politano
Professor Emeritus
Dr. Politano is a Professor Emeritus of Psychology and has been at 91ÁÔÆæ since 1991. Dr. Politano is serving as interim department head for the 2015-16 academic year. He is a certified school psychologist and a licensed clinical psychologist with Board Certification in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, American Board of Professional Psychology. When he joined 91ÁÔÆæ, he did so as Director of the Graduate Program in School Psychology. Prior to coming to 91ÁÔÆæ, Dr. Politano was an adjunct faculty member at Xavier University and senior staff psychologist at Millcreek Psychiatric Hospital for Children, Cincinnati, OH. He has also held teaching positions at Vincennes University, Morehead State University, and the College of William and Mary. Dr. Politano’s current activities include writing a research design and statistics book, and writing and illustrating children’s stories.
