{"id":23,"date":"2020-11-17T15:54:56","date_gmt":"2020-11-17T20:54:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/leadership-project-management\/?page_id=23"},"modified":"2024-10-24T15:32:38","modified_gmt":"2024-10-24T19:32:38","slug":"admissions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/leadership-program-management\/admissions\/","title":{"rendered":"Engineering Leadership &#038; Program Management Admissions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-admission-deadlines\">Admission Deadlines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All material must be received by&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/graduatecollege\/-contact\" target=\"_blank\">91ÁÔÆæ Graduate College<\/a>&nbsp;on or before the following dates to assure consideration to the MSPM program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fall: August 20<br>Spring: December 1<br>Summer: May 1&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-master-of-science-in-project-management\">Master of Science in Project Management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete the online&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/graduatecollege\/-apply\">graduate application form<\/a>&nbsp;or fill out the application in person at Bond Hall, Room 101, along with the non-refundable application fee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit an official transcript of the baccalaureate degree, and all other undergraduate or graduate academic course work, from each accredited college or university, directly to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.citadel.edu\/graduatecollege\/\">91ÁÔÆæ Graduate College.<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit two signed letters of reference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit a statement of purpose.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>How has your experience prepared you for the MSPM Program?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>b. What do you hope to gain from the MSPM Program?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submission of an official TOEFL score if the applicant\u2019s native language is not English. An undergraduate engineering degree is not required.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Pursuing a master&#8217;s degree in project management at 91ÁÔÆæ was one of the best decisions I\u2019ve made in my academic career. I\u2019ve been working for the DoD for 13 years and my goal was to find my way to the project manager career track. I had no idea how prepared I would be upon graduation. The professors conduct themselves with the upmost professionalism and their shared knowledge base reaches any career path in project management imaginable. I would not have the job I do now without the skill set I learned throughout the program. They manage to teach the curriculum in a way that is current, relatable, and immediately applicable. I can now, without fail, give a 5 minute (on-the-dot) speech over 2 weeks\u2019 worth of work at the drop of a hat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was also blown away by my peer group and that only pushed me to work harder. I made lifelong friends, networked with people in my field, and joined an esteemed group of alum.
