Research Policies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Office of Research & Grants provides research policies, forms, templates, and procedures to help faculty and staff comply with institutional, state, federal, and sponsor requirements throughout the lifecycle of externally funded projects. Use the resources below to locate the guidance needed to prepare proposals, manage awards, and maintain compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RP 10 – Human Subjects in Research<\/a><\/td>Outlines the principles governing ethical conduct of human subject research activities, and establishes roles and responsibilities of those individuals involved in the care and use of human subjects in research, including the Institutional Review Board (IRB).<\/td><\/tr>
RP 11 – Use of Generative AI in Research<\/a><\/td>Explains how generative AI can be used in the scholarly endeavors of faculty, staff, and students.<\/td><\/tr>
RP 12 – Technical and Programmatic Reporting Requirements<\/a><\/td>Describes the responsibilities of Principal Investigators with regard to interim and final technical and programmatic reporting requirements.<\/td><\/tr>
RP 13 – Subrecipient Monitoring Policy<\/a><\/td>Describes the responsibilities of Principal Investigators and the Office of Research & Grants with regard to subrecipient monitoring.
