The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) is a national accrediting body responsible for ensuring high quality educational programs offered by Education Preparation Providers (EPPs). For more detailed information regarding CAEP accreditation, please click here. Successful accreditation visits result in the accreditation of the EPP for seven years. In the event that an EPP is not successful in meeting all five CAEP standards, the EPP could be assigned areas for improvement or stipulations which could result in an additional review two years following the site visit. The EPP in the Zucker Family School of Education (ZFSOE) completed an onsite CAEP accreditation review in the Spring of 2021. As a result, the ZFSOE was rewarded accreditation for a term of seven years without any areas of improvement, nor stipulations. The EPP is scheduled to undergo its next CAEP accreditation visit in Spring of 2028.
